[Ros-kinect] failed to compile pcl_tools

installing pcl_tools in the way described here:
http://www.ros.org/wiki/mit-ros-pkg/KinectDemos/dback
(diamondBack on a gentoo box)
I have the output on the bottom.
in my system libusb1.0, libqhull, hdf5, libtiff should be available.
I'm uncertain about uuid, because I don't understand which package should
exactly rappresent that library. anyway uuid detection is perfectly working in
my system:
s939 ~ # ls /lib/libuuid.so.1*
/lib/libuuid.so.1@  /lib/libuuid.so.1.3.0*

what can I do to solve my problem?

On my OS X system, I see warnings like this (though usually fewer) frequently, even though these deps are installed and the resulting software runs. Never understood why.

The fatal error is further down here:

Google should find several comments (including some by me) on other similar problems. I even put in a bug report on such a problem in flann.

If it is a problem with install_name_tool, it's likely that either install_name_tool isn't being called during the make, or it's incorrectly setting the location of the lib which results in the lib not being found later.
