[Ros-kinect] cannot find -lGl

[Ros-kinect] cannot find -lGl

Hi all,
 I try to compile some kinect demos according to this tutorial
http://www.ros.org/wiki/mit-ros-pkg/KinectDemos/dback

Everything goes perfect untill this step:
rosmake ni pcl_tools --rosdep-install

The build crashes with this error:
-L/home/myso/kinect_demos/ni/openni/bin -lglut -lOpenNI -lGL -lGL
  /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL
  /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lGL

The more times I run it the more times -lGL appears.

This is the particular Makefiel:

OSTYPE := $(shell uname -s)

CFG=bin
CFLAGS+=-O3 -msse2
LDFLAGS+=-Wl,-rpath,/home/myso/kinect_demos/ni/openni/lib
LIB_DIRS=/home/myso/kinect_demos/ni/openni/lib
BIN_DIR=/home/myso/kinect_demos/ni/openni

INC_DIRS = \
        ../../../../../Include \
        ../../../../../Samples/NiViewer

SRC_FILES = ../../../../../Samples/NiViewer/*.cpp

ifeq ("$(OSTYPE)","Darwin")
        LDFLAGS += -framework OpenGL -framework GLUT
else
        USED_LIBS += glut
endif

USED_LIBS += OpenNI

EXE_NAME = NiViewer

USED_LIBS+=GL
USED_LIBS+=GL
include ../../CommonMakefile

Everytime I run the command a new

USED_LIBS+=GL

is added to the file.

I'm running a fresh install of Ubuntu 64-bit 10.10 Maverick.
I have tried several things, but couldn't solve the problem.
Could you please help?
