[ROS kinect] finger detection nothing shows

hey so I pretty much know nothing about this stuff but I wanted to try out the finger demo and namely the minority report styled UI. I m running Ubuntu 10.10 and I followed all the steps from these links.

once i run  $ roslaunch hand_interaction hand_detector.launch i get this in the terminal but nothing else happens. what else do i need to do to actually see something?
